Orbem seeks a Senior Field Service Engineer to own end-to-end service resolution at customer sites and in our labs. You will mentor junior engineers, drive maintenance playbooks, and support installation when needed. Travel up to 70% across the EU is expected; a European driver's license is required.

Competenze

• Hands-on experience diagnosing and resolving complex electrical, mechanical, or automation issues in field-service or industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of electrical diagrams, AutoCAD, and automation concepts (PLC, Modbus, etc.).
• Ability to make autonomous decisions under time pressure and mentor others.
• Experience creating or improving SOPs, checklists, or maintenance processes.
• Willingness to travel extensively and respond to urgent dispatch needs, including weekends.

Mansioni

• Own end-to-end diagnosis and resolution of complex service incidents at customer sites and internal labs.
• Act as primary escalation point for difficult repairs and on-site technical contact for suppliers.
• Tailor maintenance approaches to local site conditions and document deviations.
• Lead creation and improvement of maintenance SOPs and checklists.
• Mentor junior Field/Service Engineers and coach on troubleshooting.
• Lead site visit checklists during installations and upgrades when needed.
• Provide feedback to Engineering on field findings and risk escalation.
