Descrizione del lavoro

Orbem is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer to act as the senior technical authority across customer sites and labs. You will own complex, unplanned service incidents from start to finish, adapt solutions to local sites, and mentor junior engineers.

You may guide installation efforts as senior capacity when needed, with travel up to 70% mainly within the EU. Fluency in English and Italian is required, and a European driver's license is essential.

Competenze

Significant hands-on experience diagnosing and resolving complex electrical, mechanical, or automation issues in industrial/field-service environments.
Experience as senior/primary troubleshooter in a team is desirable.
Strong ability to work autonomously and make time-critical decisions.
Experience creating or improving technical SOPs, checklists, or maintenance processes.

Mansioni

Own end-to-end diagnosis and resolution of complex service incidents at customer sites and labs.
Serve as primary escalation point for difficult repairs; liaise with suppliers/partners on-site.
Tailor maintenance approaches to local site conditions and document deviations.
Lead SOPs/checklists creation and PDCA cycle for servicing.
Mentor junior engineers on troubleshooting best practices.
