Orbem is seeking an experienced Senior Field Service Engineer to serve as the senior technical authority on the road and at customer sites. You will own end-to-end resolution of complex incidents, mentor junior engineers, and help build maintenance playbooks while guiding installation efforts as senior capacity.

Travel up to 70% (EU) is required; a European driver’s license is required. English and Italian fluency are essential for direct support to our Italian customers and sites.

Competenze

• Hands-on experience diagnosing and resolving complex electrical, mechanical, or automation issues in industrial/field-service environments.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% (EU) and react to short-notice dispatch needs.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) and Italian (written and spoken).

Mansioni

• Own end-to-end diagnosis and resolution of complex service incidents at customer sites and internal labs.
• Serve as primary escalation point for difficult repairs and coordinate with suppliers/partners on-site.
• Create and improve maintenance SOPs and checklists; mentor junior engineers.
• Lead site visit checklists and technical problem-solving during installation and upgrade projects.
• Act as technical feedback loop to Engineering, escalating risks and proposing solutions.
