UKA Group, a leading energy park developer, is expanding in Italy with a Rome office and seeks a Senior Environmental Specialist to support our operations in Italy. You will perform environmental analyses for wind and solar PV projects, manage EIA procedures, coordinate with technical teams and ensure regulatory compliance, with hybrid work and travel as needed.

Competenze

• MSc or equivalent degree in an environmental discipline.
• At least five years of professional experience in environmental impact approval for onshore wind and PV.
• Experience in acoustics impact assessment is a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, QGIS and ArcGIS.
• Languages: Italian and English (C1).
• Willingness to travel.

Mansioni

• Perform environmental analyses for wind and solar projects, including agrivoltaics, during pre-feasibility or advanced development.
• Prepare, supervise and review EIA reports, feasibility studies, landscape reports and acoustic studies.
• Carry out environmental due diligences for potential project acquisitions.
• Coordinate with development, electrical and civil teams and manage subcontractors.
• Conduct site visits to identify environmental issues and mitigations.
• Review scopes of work and monitoring activities by third-party consultants.
• Support permitting procedures and monitor regulatory developments affecting environmental aspects.
• Engage stakeholders via campaigns, public hearings and meetings with authorities.
