Job summary

Amazon Italia Logistica S.R.L. seeks a Senior Environmental Compliance Manager to oversee environmental compliance for facilities in Italy and support future expansion across the SEU region.

You will partner with operations leadership to implement company procedures and ensure adherence to country and local regulations. The role requires up to 50% travel across Italy and the EU, reporting to the SEU Environmental Leader.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Italian and English at C1 level or above.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• In-depth knowledge of EU environmental regulations including Italy and local rules.
• Experience managing environmental compliance across multiple sites within the EU.
• Detail-oriented with ability to work with engineering teams on risk assessment.
• Experience leading a team and setting goals, development plans, and workload.

Responsibilities

• Manage multi-site environmental compliance across Italy, including reporting.
• Align cross-organizationally on a unified environmental compliance vision and integrate objectives into planning cycles.
• Communicate compliance strategy and risks to Directors and VPs across Operations, Legal, Finance, and Technology.
• Define and govern KPI and compliance metric frameworks providing real-time program visibility.
