Job summary

Amazon Italia Logistica S.R.L. seeks a Senior Environmental Compliance Manager to oversee environmental compliance for Amazon Facilities in Italy and support expansion across IT and SEU.

The role reports to the SEU Environmental Leader via the EU Environmental Assurance and Protection team, partnering with operations to implement country- and local-level regulations. Travel up to 50% across Italy and the EU is involved.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Italian and English (C1 or above).
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, or related field (EQF aligned).
• In-depth knowledge of EU environmental regulations across the IT domain and local jurisdictions.
• Experience managing environmental compliance, audits, or risk management across multiple sites in the EU.

Responsibilities

• Manage multi-site environmental compliance for emissions, water, waste, energy, and reporting.
• Establish and maintain cross-organizational alignment on environmental compliance goals.
• Communicate compliance strategy and status to Directors, VPs, and cross-functional teams.
• Define and govern KPI and compliance metric frameworks with real-time visibility.
