Job summary

Amazon Italia Logistica S.R.L. is seeking a Senior Environmental Compliance Manager to oversee environmental compliance for Amazon Facilities in Italy, including future expansions.

You will partner with operations leadership to implement procedures and ensure local, regional, and EU regulatory adherence. The role involves leading KPI development, cross-functional collaboration, and risk management across sites while travelling up to 50% within Italy and the EU.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Italian and English (C1+).
• Bachelor's in Environmental Sciences or related field.
• Deep knowledge of EU environmental regulations in IT and local regs.
• Experience managing compliance across multiple sites in the EU.
• Strong communication with Director level.

Responsibilities

• Manage multi-site compliance for air emissions, wastewater, waste, energy, and other environmental laws and permits.
• Align environmental strategy across units and integrate objectives into planning cycles.
• Communicate compliance strategy, program status, and escalation risks to Directors and VPs.
• Define KPI and compliance metric frameworks providing real-time visibility across units.
