Job summary

You will shape methodologies that connect SoC power behavior to package-board PDN architectures, guiding design choices and KPI improvements. The role emphasizes developing customized frameworks, validating with lab data, and iterating on PDN/PI strategies to optimize performance, margins, and cost.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in PI/PDN design and system-level PI.
• Experience with PI methodologies and transient analysis workflows.
• Proficiency with simulation tools and scripting for modeling.

Responsibilities

• SoC Power Characterization: analyze silicon power characteristics and transient loads.
• Die-to-System PDN Modeling: develop modeling methods for voltage regulation analysis.
• SoC workload-driven optimization: design board-level PDN architectures balancing PI and cost.
• Chip-to-system framework: create cross-layer models and explore new power delivery tech.
