Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Origgio, Italy, seeks a Senior Firmware Designer to lead design, development and validation of embedded control systems based on microcontrollers. You will ensure compliance with project requirements, standards and safety regulations while collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in embedded C development for microcontroller based systems.
• Knowledge of 8/16/32-bit MCUs (ARM-based such as NXP, ST, Infineon).
• Experience with embedded communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, LIN) and wireless tech (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi).
• Familiarity with C++, C#, VB or Java for development/testing tasks.
• Knowledge of embedded hardware, PCB documentation, and testing equipment; motor control knowledge is a plus.
