Job summary

METLEN Energy & Metals in Milan, Italy, seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Engineering team. You will manage PV, BESS, and datacenter projects, review standards, coordinate suppliers, and interface with customers.

The role requires 3+ years in PV/BESS/MV-HV installations, English fluency, and strong analytical skills. The position offers a competitive starting salary and a health insurance package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in PV, BESS, MV-HV installations.
• Proficient in MS Office; AutoCAD, PVSyst.
• Fluency in English; strong communication.
• Electrical licensing is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development stages of PV, BESS and datacenter projects.
• Review SLDs and designs per Italian grid regulations.
• Coordinate with project management on engineering annexes.
• Coordinate external engineering firms and define scope of work for suppliers.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and budget estimation for PV/BESS.
• Serve as main technical interface with customers.
• Define equipment specs and review supplier offers.
