Saipem is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to respond to the Head of Electrical Engineering and join the ENCAR Business line. You will develop technical documentation for electrical equipment, manage vendor deliverables, and lead RFQ processes within a hybrid work model in Italy.

The role requires 8+ years in Electrical Engineering within the O&G sector, and hands-on design experience in plant engineering, substations, and 3D modeling coordination.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or technical diploma.
• 8+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering for O&G industry.
• Experience with plant engineering design (cable routing, lighting layouts, earthing layouts) and substation equipment design (switchgears, transformers, VSD, UPS).

Responsabilités

• Develop technical documentation for electrical equipment and manage vendor deliverables.
• Define and issue RFQ and perform Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE).
• Develop and supervise plant engineering activities (cable routing, lighting, earthing) and coordinate bulk material vendors.
• Coordinate 3D model activities for the electrical discipline and manage engineering subcontractors.
• Follow up electrical aspects within large mechanical equipment packages and interface with Client representatives for alignment and reviews.
• Identify, track and manage technical queries, deviations and optimization opportunities.
• Contribute to the definition of electrical engineering requirements.
