LSP – Light Sensors & Photonics, part of ams OSRAM, seeks a senior R&D leader to drive the product segment from concept to release. You will lead diverse engineering teams and collaborate with product management and executive leadership to align on growth objectives.

Ideal candidates have 15+ years in semiconductor product development with a proven ability to scale organizations, influence stakeholders, and deliver complex portfolios in data center, AI, or optical networking domains.

Competenze

• 15+ years of experience in semiconductor product development and IC design with leadership responsibility
• Proven track record delivering semiconductor products from concept to high-volume production
• Deep expertise in Datacenter & Networking, AI infrastructure connectivity, or related domains
• Strong knowledge of modern engineering processes and test development
• Fluent written and spoken English

Mansioni

• Lead all R&D activities for the product segment and drive innovation for data center, optical networking, and AI infrastructure technologies
• Define and execute the product and technology roadmap with Product Management and leadership
• Oversee the complete product development lifecycle from concept through release
• Build and scale multidisciplinary engineering teams across design and verification disciplines
• Drive on-time, on-budget delivery with high quality standards
• Prioritize investments, allocate resources, and accelerate innovation with cross-functional stakeholders
• Develop organizational capabilities by coaching leaders and fostering high-performance culture
• Own R&D resource planning and operational performance
