Orphoz, a McKinsey company, is seeking an experienced leader to drive complex client transformations from Milan, including digital and operating-model changes. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, partner with senior executives, and translate strategy into durable performance gains.

You will manage delivery across client engagements, coach teams, and ensure measurable impact while participating in a global learning culture that accelerates leadership development.

Competenze

• Master’s degree, with a strong record of academic achievement.
• 8+ years of experience in project delivery and project management / PMO implementation, preferably in a consulting environment.
• Proven people leadership experience, including building and developing high performing teams.
• You are driven by creating long‑lasting impact, and enjoy working with people to achieve results.
• Strong, pragmatic problem‑solving skills.
• Proven experience in Business change and transformation/TO, including operational Project Management and delivery/implementation, and operational excellence (e.g. lean optimisation, process optimisation, service ops, turnaround, service redesign)
• Demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit, dedication, creativity and a passion for overcoming any challenge to get things done
• Solid understanding and some demonstrated knowledge of project management delivery using related tools and methods including MS Project, Prince 2, Agile or similar
• Functional experience with AI-related solutions (e.g., analytics, automation, AI-enabled tools) is highly desirable
• Experience working in the space of Consumer/Retail, Advanced Industries or Mid‑sized enterprises is advantageous
• You have ability to travel, with the realistic expectation to be on client site Monday – Thursday
• Fluent level language skills in Italian and English, both written and verbally

Your Impact

You will lead and deliver complex business transformations for our clients, including digital and AI transformations, operational excellence, restructuring and turnaround execution, post‑merger implementation, and strategic operations initiatives.

You will work deeply across clients’ businesses, partnering closely with senior leadership teams to build the capabilities, systems, governance, and processes required to deliver bottom-line results and ensure they are sustained. You will lead, coach, and motivate integrated teams of Orphoz colleagues and client leaders to drive execution and measurable impact.

You will act as a subject‑matter expert, combining hands‑on transformation experience with strong problem‑solving capabilities to derive insights and translate them into practical, executable solutions.

You will lead teams of Orphoz consultants throughout their projects, partnering with the McKinsey strategy teams daily.

Orphoz is a distinct offering within our McKinsey Transformation practice, focused on transformation execution and value creation - turning strategy into results. We stay through delivery partnering with clients until impact is achieved and embedded.
