McKinsey & Company in Milan is seeking a senior PMO professional to lead transformation projects across sectors. You will support leadership and client teams, progressively taking on more responsibility for managing workstreams and driving outcomes with practical, value-driven approaches.

Candidates should have a Master’s degree and 5+ years in project delivery, with strong problem-solving abilities and experience in lean/operational excellence. Fluency in Italian and English is essential.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• * Master’s degree, with a strong record of academic achievement
• * 5+ years of experience in project delivery and project management / PMO implementation, preferably in a consulting environment
• * Experience driving long lasting impact and working with people to achieve results
• * Strong, pragmatic problem-solving skills
• * Proven experience in Business change and transformation/TO, including operational Project Management and delivery/implementation, and operational excellence (e.g. lean optimisation, process optimization, service ops, turnaround, service redesign)
• * Demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit, dedication, creativity and a passion for overcoming any challenge to get things done
• * Solid understanding and some demonstrated knowledge of project management delivery using related tools and methods including MS Project, Prince 2, Agile or similar
• * Functional experience with AI-related solutions (e.g., analytics, automation, AI-enabled tools) is highly desirable
• * Experience working in the space of Consumer/Retail, Advanced Industries or Mid-sized enterprises is advantageous
• * You enjoy the flexibility and agility that is required in a consulting environment
• * You have the ability to travel, with the realistic expectation to be on client site Monday – Thursday
• * Fluent level language skills in Italian and English, both written and verbal
