Since 2012, Khazna has become the leading wholesale data center provider in the Middle East and North Africa, delivering reliable and scalable infrastructure to support the region’s growing digital ecosystem.

We are seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to support the SD-C&CM in the contract and commercial management across Khazna’s portfolio of construction projects, working with senior stakeholders and operationally assisting the delivery teams and managing external consultants providing contract and commercial management services. The post holder will support the contract and commercial assistance to the CCSO’s Office to drive commercial optimization and ensure all work is executed in line with business plans, objectives and in compliance with governance

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Support the development and implementation of the department strategy ensuring alignment to divisional strategy, Khazna’s vision, mission and corporate objectives.
• Support the SD-C&CM in the provision of subject matter expertise for the assigned tasks and in providing counsel to Khazna leadership on all related areas to facilitate the achievement of Khazna’s strategy and divisional strategies.
• Necessary capability and experience to actively support internal delivery teams and provide contract and commercial management on complex engineering projects/programmes of work ranging between AED 100m and AED 2bn from inception to completion.
• In compliance with procurement processes and procedures, prepare supporting contract and commercial documentation and input to support procurement timelines.
• Lead the development of project-specific and portfolio wide approaches; draft, review and manage all contracts for data center construction projects such as vendor, main contract, subcontract agreements and consultant service agreements.
• Lead contract negotiations with vendors, main contractors, subcontractors and consultants to obtain favorable terms and conditions, ensuring optimal cost-effectiveness, alignment with stakeholder requirements and risk allocation.
• Proactively lead the process of identification, evaluation and recommendation of all contract changes, variations, and claims while ensuring compliance with required contract documentation and change control processes

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES:

• Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Relevant professional qualification or chartered status
• 20+ years of relevant professional experience, including the delivery of data centers or other complex engineering projects across the entire project life cycle.
• In-depth expert knowledge of contract management, including construction processes and commercial management.
• Demonstration of self-management and prioritization skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment to achieve team goals.
• Commercial acumen and the proven ability to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent written, interpersonal and communication skills required
• Experience in global projects and multi-cultural project teams
• Experience with client-side delivery of both pre- and post-contract contract and commercial activities
• Experience in developing and leveraging strategic relationships across the supply chain
• MS Excel expertise and project control platform experience.
