Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Container Engineer based in Italy to join a globally distributed team building a high-performance container platform for cloud-native applications. You will ensure reliability, security, observability, and cost efficiency of multi-tenant Kubernetes infrastructure across regions, combining software engineering, platform architecture, and SRE practices.

You will lead ORRs, design CI/CD pipelines, implement security automation, and collaborate with infrastructure and product

Qualifications

• 5+ years in platform engineering, Kubernetes or container platform operations
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes, container tooling, and CNCF ecosystem
• Experience with SRE practices: SLIs, SLOs, error budgets and incident response
• Experience with multi-tenant infrastructure and workload isolation
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets for the container platform.
• Lead ORRs for new capabilities and changes; establish uptime metrics.
• Participate in on-call rotations and drive incident resolution and postmortems.
• Build and maintain automation, controllers, and platform APIs.
• Design and improve CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and deployment strategies.
• Implement security automation including remediation and patch management.
• Develop automated tests and pipelines for platform releases.
• Evolve container tech stack and architecture for multi-tenant environments.
• Improve infrastructure efficiency and cost optimization.
