Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer based in Italy to design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure for AI applications and data products. You will focus on Microsoft Azure with exposure to AWS, developing automation, deployment workflows, and observability in a global, collaborative environment.

You will work on cloud security, cost controls, and platform reliability while collaborating with AI engineers, data specialists, and international IT teams to scale cloud

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience designing, deploying and operating cloud-native apps and infra.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure with practical exposure to AWS.
• Experience with IaC, CI/CD pipelines, containers, monitoring and logging.
• Solid programming skills in Python and SQL; TypeScript is a plus.
• Understanding of data engineering basics, ETL, data pipelines and system integrations.
• Knowledge of cloud architecture, distributed systems, APIs and event-driven design.
• Familiarity with cloud security best practices, IAM, encryption and resilient infra.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud-native infrastructure enabling AI applications and data products, primarily using Azure and AWS.
• Develop reusable IaC modules, deployment templates, and observability patterns.
• Automate provisioning, CI/CD, monitoring, logging, secrets management and cost controls.
• Contribute to cloud architecture decisions for AI-powered workflows and data platforms.
• Implement cloud security standards covering IAM, encryption, resilience, and secure configurations.
• Establish monitoring, alerting, troubleshooting to improve platform availability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across countries to onboard environments and scale use cases.
