RINA is seeking a Construction Safety Senior Engineer to join the Genoa office in Italy. The role focuses on ensuring safety across construction operations within infrastructure projects, working closely with Principal Engineers.

Key responsibilities include risk identification and mitigation, regulatory compliance, site inspections, safety plan development, accident investigations, training verification, and coordination of safety efforts with engineering teams.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Construction, Environment or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction safety management.
• Fluency in Italian is mandatory.

Mansioni

• Identify, assess and mitigate construction safety risks, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with local, state, and federal safety regulations and company safety policies.
• Conduct site inspections to identify hazards and implement corrective actions; prepare inspection reports.
• Develop project-specific safety plans, risk assessments and method statements.
• Investigate accidents and near misses; report findings and propose preventive measures.
• Verify safety training for personnel and subcontractors; ensure emergency plans are in place.
• Collaborate with engineers to support safety on construction sites and develop schedules and deliverables.
• Prepare safety-related technical reports and ensure alignment with RINA QMS.
