RINA is seeking a Construction Safety Engineer (Categorie Protette) to join its Civil Engineering Division in Genoa, Italy. The role focuses on ensuring construction safety, coordinating with senior engineers, and developing safety plans for infrastructure projects.

Ideal candidates are registered under Italian Law 68/99, with CSP/CSE 120-hour training and at least 3 years of site-inspection experience. The position is on-site in Genoa with a competitive salary and welfare benefits.

Competenze

• Mandatory requirement: Registered as a protected category candidate under Italian Law 68/99 (collocazione mirato).
• Knowledge of Safety Regulations and Standards and ability to identify, assess, and mitigate safety construction risks.
• +3 years experience in conducting regular site inspections and reporting findings.
• Safety planning: assist in developing project safety plans, risk assessments, and method statements.
• Training in construction safety (120 hours) - CSP/CSE Dlgs 81/08
• Fluency in Italian required.

Mansioni

• Assist in identification, assessment and mitigation of safety construction risks; ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections; identify hazards and unsafe practices; collaborate on corrective actions and reports.
• Assist in developing project-specific safety plans, risk assessments, and method statements.
• Review construction plans to ensure safety compliance; assist in safety training sessions for site personnel.
• Assist in emergency response planning and risk assessments; participate in incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Provide day-to-day support to project elements; collaborate with engineers on site; develop schedules and deliverables.
• Prepare technical deliverables (safety reports, Health Safety Plan, Safety and Coordination Plan, drawings).
• Ensure activities align with RINA QMS and quality policy.
