Novonesis is seeking a Scientist/Technical Service professional to partner with Sales and collaborate across Application Research, Marketing, and Engineering to drive customer-testing and opportunities in the animal- and marine-based ingredients space.

The role emphasizes leading technical activities, experimental design, and data-driven decision making, with frequent travel across Europe and a strong focus on developing commercial growth through biosolutions.

Qualifications

• University degree (M.Sc. or PhD) in chemical or process engineering (or closely related field).
• Experience with process design and process optimization in industrial processing of raw materials and side-streams from the food and marine industries.
• High level of scientific confidence and experience with experimental design and data analysis.
• Strong customer and business orientation with a strategic/commercial mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to operate in a network-based environment.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Willingness to travel frequently (approx. 60–80 days per year).

Responsabilités

• Partner with Sales to engage customers, inspire testing, and identify new opportunities.
• Lead technical activities such as customer trials and on-site troubleshooting.
• Support launches of innovative products and services with cross-functional teams.
• Drive structured experimentation, data analysis, and documentation to support decisions.
• Deliver technical training and presentations internally and externally.
