Danfoss GmbH is seeking a Senior Engineer, Backend to design and implement production-grade backend services powering IoT solutions. You will own end-to-end backend capabilities, from architecture to deployment and production reliability, in a hybrid work setting within Italy.

You will work across teams to translate customer needs into robust technical solutions, build event-driven data flows, and drive system performance and maintainability with modern engineering practices.

Competenze

• Production-grade backend software in Go for IoT/industrial data
• Experience designing distributed/IoT backends with MQTT; Kafka a plus
• Hands-on testing, CI/CD and containerized environments in modern stacks
• Strong ownership mindset from design through production and operation

Mansioni

• Design, build and evolve production-grade backends for industrial IoT solutions using Go, MQTT, Kafka
• Own backend capabilities end-to-end from architecture to testing, deployment and production reliability
• Translate product needs into pragmatic solutions across engineering teams
• Build and improve event-driven data flows processing industrial IoT data
• Drive quality with code reviews, test automation and secure CI/CD practices
