Danfoss Climate Solutions is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in Italy to advance our data platform and infrastructure for energy-efficient heating and cooling solutions. You will build scalable pipelines, harmonize data across departments, and contribute to architectural decisions shaping the platform’s evolution.

You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and cross-functional teams, ensuring reliable data products and an ecosystem that enables cross-domain insights.

Competenze

• Proven experience in software development and data engineering with strong execution mindset.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python; Go, Rust or TypeScript a plus.
• Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow, Mage, or Dagster.
• Knowledge of stream processing tools like Kafka, NATS, Flink or similar.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP); Spark and Iceberg are a plus.
• Experience with time-series databases such as InfluxDB, Victoria Metrics or TimeScaleDB.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams; English required.
