Satispay is seeking a Backend Engineer in the Core Team to build and maintain the backbone of our payment platform. You’ll contribute to sensitive systems and help scale services across product teams.

You will work with Java/Spring Boot, focus on reliability, and collaborate on risk, fraud, and bank integrations in an AI-powered environment. Hybrid work is supported, in a fast-moving FinTech setting.

Competenze

• At least 3 years of experience as a Backend Engineer building and maintaining scalable microservices.
• Deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot, with understanding of distributed systems and external banking APIs.
• Cloud exposure (AWS is a plus) and relational databases (PostgreSQL).
• Strong focus on system health, data integrity, and clean business logic; comfortable debugging complex services.
• Excellent communication, able to convey technical concepts clearly to colleagues and non-technical peers.
• Fluency in English and passion for FinTech.

Mansioni

• Contribute to core platform domains such as Transaction Ledger, IAM, or Payment Orchestration.
• Develop risk and financial engines for bank integrations, credit risk, and real-time fraud detection.
• Collaborate on technical solutions and produce high-quality documentation (Smart Papers).
• Drive engineering quality with clean code, rigorous testing, and safe rollouts.
• Work in an AI-powered environment to write/optimize code and speed up root cause analysis.
• Grow with senior engineers and help juniors adopt best practices for secure development.
