ACMA, headquartered in Bologna, Italy, is a leading packaging machinery manufacturer within the Coesia group. We seek a Software Engineer to design automation software for automated lines, collaborate across engineering teams, and manage software throughout the machine life cycle.

Role requires 5+ years in a similar position, a degree in Automation/Electrical/Computer Engineering, and fluency in English. Travel may be required; base salary starts at EUR 44,400 with additional benefits.

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience in a similar position.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation/Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of motion control.
• Significant experience in the automatic machines sector.
• Experience with PLC programming tools (Schneider, Rockwell, Beckhoff is a plus).
• Willingness to travel and strong teamwork.
• Fluent in English.

Mansioni

• Design automation software solutions for controls of automated machinery lines.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineering and R&D on software design and mechatronics; analyze per URS and specs.
• Develop software for the entire machine life cycle, ensuring compliance with requirements.
• Execute simulations, debugging, and testing before installation and at customer sites.
• Draft relevant technical documentation.
