Siemens in Italy is seeking an Application Engineer – Motion Control to design, validate and commission advanced Motion Control applications across Italy, from digital simulation to on-site commissioning.

Your day-to-day includes developing and testing Motion Control software solutions, supporting commissioning and troubleshooting, and collaborating closely with customers, partners, and the sales organization to deliver innovative and high-performing automation solutions.

Competenze

Master's degree in automation/mechatronics or related field.
Experience with Motion Control technologies, PLC programming and industrial automation.
Knowledge of Structured Text and C; C# is a plus.
Willingness to travel frequently across Italy and occasionally abroad.
Fluency in Italian and English, written and spoken.

Mansioni

Design, develop, test, and validate Motion Control solutions based on customer requirements.
Manage parameterization, digital simulation, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting at customer sites.
Deliver technical presentations, workshops, and training to customers and partners.
Translate customer needs into Motion Control architectures and optimized parameter sets.
Collaborate with the sales force to identify solutions and support proposals.
Provide after-sales technical support and share lessons learned to improve future applications.
Expand expertise across Motion Control areas such as Metal Forming, Packaging, Handling, and Converting.
