Siemens in Italy seeks an Application Engineer – Motion Control to join the Digital Industries team. You will design, validate, and commission Motion Control applications for customers across Italy, traversing from digital simulation to on-site commissioning, and collaborate with customers, partners, and sales to deliver high-performing automation solutions.

Competenze

• Master's degree in Automation/Mechatronics or related field.
• Experience with Motion Control technologies, PLC programming, and industrial automation.
• Fluent Italian and English; willing to travel across Italy.

Mansioni

• Drive design, development, testing, and validation of Motion Control solutions based on customer requirements and system specifications.
• Manage parameterization, digital simulation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting at customer sites.
• Deliver technical presentations, workshops, and training sessions to customers and partners in classroom, remote, and on-site environments.
• Translate customer needs into Motion Control architectures, specifications, and optimized parameter sets.
• Collaborate with the sales force to identify best technical solutions and support proposals.
• Provide after-sales technical support and share lessons learned for future improvements.
• Expand expertise across Motion Control areas like Metal Forming, Packaging, Handling, and Converting.
• Support adoption of advanced automation concepts and digitalization technologies, including software design and development.
