Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Senior Specialist based in Settimo Milanese to manage end-to-end AP processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payment execution.

You will work within an international environment, collaborating with senior stakeholders and the Group CFO. The role supports month-end close, VAT compliance, and cash-flow optimization in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable in structured or multinational organizations.
• Fluent English and strong communication with senior stakeholders.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Manage the full Accounts Payable cycle from invoice receipt to payment execution.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices in compliance with policies.
• Perform vendor account reconciliations and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Manage payment runs and maintain relationships with suppliers.
• Monitor AP aging and follow up on outstanding items.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals.
• Ensure VAT and local statutory compliance for AP activities.
• Assist with audit requests and provide documentation to auditors.
• Collaborate with treasury and accounting teams to optimize cash flow.
• Contribute to process improvement and finance transformation projects.
• Participate in ERP implementation, optimization, and automation initiatives.
• Maintain and improve internal controls within the AP process.
