Job summary

Argotec S.r.l. in Italy is seeking a Senior AOCS Systems Engineer to join the Systems Engineering Unit, focusing on Attitude and Orbit Control, ADCS and propulsion subsystems, with hands-on design, analysis, and verification.

The role leads AOCS/GNC activities across mission phases, performs simulations, trade studies, and integrates with spacecraft architecture while working with international teams and ECSS standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Aerospace, Space Engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role in the space sector.
• Ability to work with tight schedules and in multidisciplinary international teams.
• Excellent communication in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Lead AOCS suite across mission phases from concept to in-flight operations.
• Perform calculations, modelling and simulations for GNC/AOCS performances.
• Trade-off, sizing and architecture selection of PS and ADCS hardware.
• Drive spacecraft GNC architecture per requirements and specifications.
• Manage system budgets with focus on deltaV, momentum and pointing budgets.
• Coordinate with project team and external partners; prepare technical docs for reviews.
