Thales Alenia Space in Rome is seeking a Junior Attitude and Orbit Control System Design Engineer to contribute to the full subsystem lifecycle from feasibility studies to in-flight activities. You will work on architecture sizing, control and estimation algorithms, hardware spec support, and verification through simulations, with opportunities to grow in an international engineering group.

Mansioni

• Contribute to all phases of the subsystem lifecycle from feasibility studies to in-flight activities.
• Participate in architecture definition, sizing and technical justification.
• Analyze attitude perturbations environment and support hardware spec management.
• Design, implement and verify control modes and estimation algorithms.
• Assist in monitoring the technical procurement of hardware components.
• Support flight operations for in-orbit activities and data analysis.
• Model units and configure design frameworks for testing.
• Travel to other locations for short or mid-term periods as needed.
