Job summary

Jimdo is seeking a Senior AI Fullstack Engineer to join the AI Team and help build Jimdo Companion, an intelligent AI assistant for millions of entrepreneurs. You will design scalable backend systems, craft frontend experiences, and develop agentic AI workflows powered by large language models.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including senior/lead capacity.
• Strong full-stack expertise with Node.js, TypeScript, and React.
• Hands-on experience building AI-powered products using LLMs, prompts, agentic workflows or AI APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design and build core systems powering Jimdo Companion, including agent orchestration, recommendations, and scalable APIs.
• Develop AI-powered features that automate real business tasks and improve customer outcomes.
• Build backend services and frontend experiences using modern full‑stack technologies.
• Design and evaluate LLM-powered workflows, prompts, guardrails, and agent coordination.
• Create reusable AI platform capabilities for other teams to build AI-enabled products.
• Collaborate with Product, Designers, Data Analysts and Engineers to deliver customer-centric solutions.
• Promote best practices in AI-enabled software development across the team.
