A leading automotive company in Milano is seeking an experienced accountant to manage financial operations and reporting. Candidates should have 5-7 years of experience and a passion for the automotive industry. Key responsibilities include managing accounts receivable and payable, ensuring compliance with tax obligations, and assisting with financial closings. Fluent English and Italian required as well as strong SAP skills. The role offers a full-time opportunity within a dynamic environment.

Competenze

• 5-7 years professional experience in accounting, ideally in the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of IFRS GAAP is a plus.
• Experience with SAP systems is mandatory.

Key Results / Main Accountabilities

• Update accounts receivable and issue invoices.
• Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
• Payable control, checking and tracking for supplier’s and employee’s payment requests.
• Bank account operations (payments, receivable tracking, F24).
• Preparation of other journal entries (General Ledger: labor costs, accruals, referrals etc.) to ensure all business transactions are recorded, in accordance with the national OIC accounting principles.
• Account reconciliations
• Tax obligations, VAT settlement, F24, 770.
• Management of the Assets Area with relative control of depreciation.
• Collaborate on the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
• Monthly reporting according to the IFRS GAAP.
• Follow the factoring credit.
• Relationship with external auditors and Internal Audit; Tax consultants, banks.
• Internal administrative interface, with Customers and Suppliers.
• Be part in SAP systems implementation.
• Check accounts in the local accounting system and SAP during the implementation process and after go live.

Professional Experience & Skills

• 5-7 years professional experience, with passion in the automotive industry.
• IFRS GAAP knowledge would be a plus.
• SAP knowledge is a must.
• Accuracy and compliance with deadlines.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
