Gerresheimer in Parma is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to manage external manufacturing planning and coordinate with internal functions to ensure production schedules, service levels, and stock targets are met.

The role requires collaboration with Planning, Procurement, Logistics, Quality, Production, and Customer Service to resolve operational issues and support new product introductions and supply continuity initiatives.

Competenze

• At least 2 years of experience in Supply Chain field in manufacturing companies.
• Knowledge of planning processes and coordination of external suppliers and contract manufacturers.
• Knowledge of production planning and Supply Chain processes, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of APS (Advanced Planning and Scheduling) tools and production planning and scheduling software.

• Monitor production plan execution, proactively managing any issues related to production capacity, material availability, and continuity of supply.

The resource will be responsible for management of external processing activities, coordinating operations with suppliers and the relevant internal departments to ensure compliance with production schedules, service level targets, and stock objectives.

Main activities

• Plan and coordinate production activities with external manufacturing suppliers, ensuring the right balance between service levels, product availability, inventory levels, and costs
• Monitor production plan execution, proactively managing any issues related to production capacity, material availability, and continuity of supply
• Collaborate closely with key internal functions—including Planning, Procurement, Logistics, Quality, Production, and Customer Service to ensure alignment of production plans and the effective resolution of operational issues
• Support the introduction of new products, product changes, and initiatives aimed at ensuring continuity of supply
• Coordinate external suppliers on an operational level, ensuring compliance with production schedules and delivery commitments
• Monitor operational performance and contribute to the identification of continuous improvement opportunities
• Participate in Supply Chain transformation projects, including the implementation of new planning and scheduling processes and tools

Skills

• At least 2 years of experience in Supply Chain field in manufacturing companies, preferably in roles related to Production Planning, Supply Planning, or External Manufacturing Planning.
• The knowledge of planning processes and coordination of external suppliers and contract manufacturers will be considered as a plus
• Knowledge of production planning and Supply Chain processes, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of APS (Advanced Planning and Scheduling) tools and production planning and scheduling software
