Job summary

IMA Group is seeking a Production Planner for the IMA BFB Division to own orders from machine sales, perform planning analyses, and ensure on-time delivery for production lines.

You will gather technical and commercial details, coordinate with suppliers, and work with Project Management, Assembly, and Engineering to maintain a seamless workflow throughout the project lifecycle. The role offers a competitive package and growth within a global leader.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate has 2–3 years in a similar production/planning role within manufacturing.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data handling.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.

Responsibilities

• Gather technical and commercial information for correct assembly within deadlines.

For the IMA BFB Division, we are looking for a Production Planner.

IMA BFB specializes in the design and manufacturing of end-of-line secondary packaging machines and complete packaging lines for the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and food industries.

The Role

• Take ownership of orders resulting from the sale of machines or complete production lines, performing operational and planning analyses to identify project requirements and ensure compliance with scheduled timelines.
• Gather and manage all technical and commercial information (custom-designed components, specifications, materials, etc.) required to support the correct assembly of machines within agreed deadlines.
• Manage and maintain relationships with external suppliers, serving as the primary point of contact for activity coordination and material procurement.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Project Management, Assembly Department, Engineering, and other functions) to ensure an efficient and consistent workflow throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Issue and manage purchase orders for components, monitoring progress and ensuring alignment with production requirements.
• Plan and coordinate logistics activities, including material requirements analysis and availability monitoring.
• Ensure materials are available for picking activities and provide support to internal operational processes.

Experience & Skills

• 2 to 3 years of previous experience in a similar role, preferably inproject-based logistics management or purchasing (Buyer) within a manufacturing environment.
• Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.

Compensation Package

The starting gross annual salary (RAL) will be €34,000, under the provisions of the Italian National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL) for the Metalworking Industry.
A higher compensation package may be offered based on the candidate’s experience and skills, in accordance with objective and gender-neutral evaluation criteria.
