Inspired Education Group in Milan is seeking a part-time Science Lab Technician to support Saint Louis School's Science program. You will work with teachers to ensure lessons are resourced, equipment prepared and practical activities can be carried out safely and effectively.

The ideal candidate has experience in the education sector, some exposure to IBDP is desirable, strong analytical skills and a high level of integrity. Fluent English (C2) is required for this post.

ROLE SUMMARY:

Saint Louis School, Caviglia is looking to recruit an experienced and suitably qualified part time science lab technician to boost further the quality of our Science provision.

As a science technician you will work closely with the teaching team and students, to make sure that lessons are correctly resourced, equipment prepared and practical activities, experiments and projects can be carried out safely and effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Science Lab Technician is responsible for assisting a learning that is effective for orderly teaching and providing learning experiences that maximize academic progress. They encourage appropriate study and independant learning skills and motivate each student to achieve their potential in their subject.

Staff at Saint Louis School are also expected to take an active role in school life including, department meetings, school activities, open days and functions as required.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Previous experience in the education sector
• Experience of IBDP(desirable)
• A high level of analytical skills, systems/data analysis and a strong attention to detail
• Strong ethical and moral values
