Florence Bilingual School in Florence, Italy, seeks a dedicated Pre-School Teacher to create a nurturing, inclusive learning environment for young children. You will plan engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that foster curiosity, independence, and a love of learning within our Italian/English bilingual program.

This full-time, fixed-term role runs until 30 June 2027 and requires a recognised teaching qualification, at least two years of classroom experience, and a strong commitment

About the Role:

As a Pre-School Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment where young children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn. You will plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that encourage curiosity, independence, and a love of learning, aligned with the school’s values and educational approach. Through careful observation, assessment, and positive relationships, you will support each child’s academic, social, and emotional development. Working closely with colleagues and families, you will contribute actively to school life and ensure high standards of care, learning, and safeguarding are consistently upheld.

This is a full-time, fixed-term contract position to start as soon as possible, until 30th June 2027.

Who We Are Looking For:

You are a passionate and caring early years educator who believes every child has the potential to thrive. You bring strong classroom practice, creativity, and patience, along with the ability to adapt your approach to meet the needs of individual learners. You communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues, and you value collaboration and professional growth. You hold a recognised teaching qualification, have at least two years’ classroom experience, and demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding and child wellbeing. You are organised, reflective, and motivated to contribute positively to a dynamic school community.
