Job summary

Alpitronic, based in Bologna, seeks a SAP consultant to optimize end-to-end SAP processes across modules and to configure SAP S/4HANA in FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, QM, eWM. You will gather user requirements, lead projects, and coordinate with partners from concept to go-live.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in CS, informatics or business administration.
• SAP consultant experience, preferably with S/4HANA.
• Familiarity with SAP Activate, Fiori, IDoc, OData and APIs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to manage priorities.
• Excellent command of English and either German or Italian.

Job description

This role is based in Bologna and requires regular on-site presence at Alpitronic's headquarters in Bolzano

Your Responsibilities

• Analyze, design and optimize end-to-end processes across SAP modules, for example Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay and Plan-to-Produce
• Configure and customize SAP S/4HANA across FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, QM, eWM and related areas
• Gather business requirements with key users and process owners and translate them into functional specifications following a fit-to-standard / clean-core approach
• Act as functional lead in SAP projects, rollouts and change requests, from concept through testing to go-live and hypercare
• Steer implementation partners and external service providers, and review their deliverables for quality, cost and timelines
• Coordinate interfaces and integrations with third-party systems together with technical teams
• Provide functional support, including root-cause analysis and lasting fixes
• Plan and run tests (unit, integration, regression) for releases, upgrades and changes
• Train and enable key users, and support master data quality and governance
• Create and maintain process and solution documentation
• Identify improvement potential and contribute to the SAP roadmap

Your Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or Business Administration; SAP certifications as an advantage
• Previous experience as a SAP consultant (in-house or consultancy), ideally with SAP S/4HANA
• Familiarity with SAP Activate, Fiori and integration concepts (IDoc, OData, APIs)
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations, identify root causes and develop effective solutions
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
• Excellent knowledge of English, German and/ or Italian
