Job summary

BearingPoint, Inc. invites a Senior Consultant to join in Milan or Turin to lead SAP S/4HANA PP implementations and production planning projects. You will analyze requirements, design functional specs, and configure SAP processes while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

You will drive end-to-end production planning activities, support testing, data migration, and training, and maintain strong client relationships. English is essential; Italian is a plus, with willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience delivering SAP PP projects with hands-on configuration.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and production planning knowledge.
• Gather and analyze requirements, create functional specs, and communicate recommendations clearly.
• Strong problem-solving, presentation, and teamwork with a client-focused approach.
• Fluent in English; Italian a plus; comfortable in international environments.
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally as project needs require.

We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join our team and help clients transform their manufacturing and production planning processes with SAP S/4HANA.

Location: Milan or Turin

Your Role & Responsibilities

• Leading or contributing to SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP) implementations, transformations, and rollouts.
• Analyzing business requirements and translating them into functional designs, process flows, and SAP configuration.
• Supporting end-to-end production planning processes, including demand management, material requirements planning, production orders, capacity planning, and shop-floor execution.
• Facilitating workshops with business stakeholders and advising clients on SAP PP capabilities and leading practices.
• Coordinating with other SAP modules and technical teams to support end-to-end process integration.
• Contributing to testing, data migration, cutover, training, and post-go-live support.
• Building trusted client relationships and supporting project teams in delivering measurable business results.

Background & Experience

• You have a degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• You have at least 5 years of experience delivering SAP PP projects, including hands‑on configuration and implementation work.
• You have experience with SAP S/4HANA and a strong understanding of production planning and manufacturing processes.
• You can gather and analyze requirements, develop functional specifications, and communicate recommendations clearly to business and technical stakeholders.
• You have strong problem-solving, presentation, and teamwork skills, with a client-focused and collaborative approach.
• You are comfortable working in an international environment and communicating in English; proficiency in Italian is an advantage. Other European languages are a plus.
• You are willing to travel domestically and internationally when project needs require it.
