BearingPoint, Inc. is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our international SAP team, focusing on SAP S/4HANA FI/CO implementations and optimizations for clients in Milan or Turin.

You will translate business needs into effective SAP configurations and collaborate with clients and colleagues to deliver sustainable outcomes. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in SAP consulting, strong FI/CO expertise, and the ability to gather requirements, design functional specs, and communicate clearly.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of SAP consulting experience with focus on FI/CO processes and solutions.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and understanding of financial accounting and controlling processes.
• Ability to gather requirements, develop functional specs, and communicate recommendations clearly.
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving, initiative, and a proactive, results-oriented approach.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and teamwork with a client-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; English required; Italian an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to SAP S/4HANA FI/CO implementations, transformations, and rollouts.
• Analyze business requirements and translate into functional designs, processes, and SAP configurations.
• Support core financial processes: GL, AP/AR, asset accounting, closing, cost centers, internal orders.
• Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders and advise on FI/CO capabilities and best practices.
• Coordinate with other SAP modules and technical teams for end-to-end process integration.
• Contribute to testing, data migration, cutover, training, and post-go-live support.
• Build trusted client relationships and manage stakeholder expectations to deliver measurable results.

Join Our Dynamic Team

We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join our team and help clients transform their financial management and controlling processes with SAP S/4HANA.

Location: Milan or Turin

Your Role & Responsibilities

As part of an international team, you will deliver client-facing SAP projects, supporting organizations as they design, implement, and improve their SAP S/4HANA solutions. You will work closely with clients and colleagues to translate business needs into effective, sustainable outcomes, including:

• Leading or contributing to SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling (FI/CO) implementations, transformations, and rollouts.
• Analyzing business requirements and translating them into functional designs, process flows, and SAP configuration.
• Supporting core financial processes, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, asset accounting, financial closing, cost center accounting, and internal orders.
• Facilitating workshops with business stakeholders and advising clients on SAP FI/CO capabilities and leading practices.
• Coordinating with other SAP modules and technical teams to support end-to-end process integration and financial data flows.
• Contributing to testing, data migration, cutover, training, and post-go-live support, with close attention to detail.
• Building trusted client relationships, managing stakeholder expectations, and supporting project teams in delivering measurable business results.

Background & Experience

• You have a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• You have at least 5 years of experience in SAP consulting, with a strong focus on SAP FI/CO processes and solutions.
• You have experience with SAP S/4HANA and a strong understanding of financial accounting and controlling processes.
• You can gather and analyze requirements, develop functional specifications, and communicate recommendations clearly to business and technical stakeholders.
• You demonstrate analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, initiative, and a proactive, results-oriented approach to adapting to changing project needs.
• You have strong communication, stakeholder management, and teamwork skills, with a collaborative and client-oriented attitude.
• You are comfortable working in an international environment and communicating in English; proficiency in Italian is an advantage. Other European languages are a plus.
• You are willing to travel domestically and internationally when project needs require it.
