Job summary

BearingPoint, Inc. in Italy seeks an SAP S/4HANA FI/CO Business Consultant to help clients transform financial management and controlling using SAP S/4HANA.

You will join an international team delivering end-to-end FI/CO solutions from Milan or Turin and translate business needs into effective SAP configurations. You will gather requirements, design functional specifications, support testing and data migration, and collaborate with Finance and IT stakeholders to achieve sustainable improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
• Experience in SAP consulting with a focus on FI/CO processes and solutions.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and financial accounting/controlling processes.
• Ability to gather requirements, develop functional specifications, and communicate recommendations clearly.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to SAP S/4HANA FI/CO implementations, transformations, and rollouts.
• Analyze business requirements and translate into functional designs and SAP configurations.
• Support financial accounting and controlling processes including GL, AP/AR, CO, internal orders, and profitability analysis.
• Help clients improve financial reporting, planning, budgeting, cost allocation, and analysis processes.
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders and advise on FI/CO capabilities and best practices.
• Coordinate with SD/MM and technical teams for end-to-end process integration.
• Contribute to testing, data migration, cutover, training, and post-go-live support.

Join Our Dynamic Team

We are looking for an SAP S/4HANA FI/CO Business Consultant to help clients transform their financial management and controlling processes with SAP S/4HANA.

Location: Milan or Turin

Your Role & Responsibilities

As part of an international team, you will contribute to client-facing SAP projects, supporting organizations as they design, implement, and improve their SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling solutions. You will work closely with clients and colleagues to translate business needs into effective, sustainable outcomes, including:

• Contributing to SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling (FI/CO) implementations, transformations, and rollouts.
• Analyzing business requirements and translating them into functional designs, process flows, and SAP configuration.
• Supporting financial accounting and controlling processes, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, cost center accounting, internal orders, and profitability analysis.
• Helping clients improve financial reporting, planning, budgeting, cost allocation, and analysis processes.
• Facilitating workshops with business stakeholders and advising clients on SAP FI/CO capabilities and leading practices.
• Coordinating with other SAP modules, including Sales and Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM), as well as technical teams, to support end-to-end process integration and financial data flows.
• Contributing to testing, data migration, cutover, training, and post-go-live support, with close attention to detail.
• Building trusted client relationships, managing stakeholder expectations, and supporting project teams in delivering measurable business results.

Background & Experience

• You have a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• You have experience in SAP consulting, with a focus on SAP FI/CO processes and solutions.
• You have experience with SAP S/4HANA and a strong understanding of financial accounting and controlling processes.
• You can gather and analyze requirements, develop functional specifications, and communicate recommendations clearly to business and technical stakeholders.
• You demonstrate analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, initiative, and a proactive, results-oriented approach to adapting to changing project needs.
• You have strong communication, stakeholder management, and teamwork skills, with a collaborative and client-oriented attitude.
• You are comfortable working in an international environment and communicating in English; proficiency in Italian. Other European languages are a plus.
• You are willing to travel domestically and internationally when project needs require it.
