Arsenalia seeks a skilled SAP Basis Administrator to join our dynamic team in Italy. You’ll work on diverse projects across industries, collaborating with international teams to optimize SAP environments and drive digital transformation.

Responsibilities include managing SAP infrastructure, patching, performance tuning, upgrades, backups, and cross‑team coordination. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of SAP SysOps experience and knowledge of Oracle/HANA databases, Linux/Unix, and SAP

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience as SAP SysOps or SAP System Administrator.
• Experience with Oracle and HANA databases for SAP.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

• Manage SAP infrastructure architecture and deployment tasks.
• Handle software lifecycle: patching, updates, and maintenance.

WHAT WE’R LOOKING FOR

• At least 5 years of experience as SAP SysOps or SAP System Administrator.
• Ability to understand client needs, define architectural frameworks, and draft Statements of Work.
• Knowledge of Oracle and HANA database architecture and administration for SAP.
• Experience with SAP Solution Manager and system monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
• Understanding of network protocols and system integration principles.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work in new environments and across different projects.
• Willingness to travel for short, medium, or long-term assignments.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

WHAT WE WOULD CONSIDER A PLUS

• Degree or diploma in IT, electronics, or equivalent skills.
• Experience with databases: SAP HANA, Oracle, SQL Server.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP ERP, S/4HANA, HANA, and SQL Server environments.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and analytical thinking.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper‑V).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) in SAP contexts.

What we offer

The gross annual salary for this position ranges from €33,000 to €45,000 for the middle profile and from €46,000 to €55,000 for the Senior profile. The final offer may be adjusted based on the candidate’s skills and experience beyond the required level. The role is covered by the CCNL Metalmeccanico Industria (CNEL code C011).
