Job summary

CeLeen, an operating firm of Command Holdings, seeks a Product Owner to support NIWC Atlantic in Naples, Italy. You will act as the customer proxy for SAFe ARTs, own the backlog, and collaborate with Product Management, System Architects, and engineers to deliver high-value capabilities.

The role requires strong requirements discipline, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to translate mission needs into well-formed user stories with clear acceptance criteria.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Current, active secret security clearance.
• Experience in SAFe Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as customer/stakeholder proxy for one or more teams within SAFe ART.
• Lead requirements elicitation interviewing stakeholders, end users, SMEs, and systems engineers.
• Decompose features into actionable user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Own and prioritize team backlog using WSJF and value-based prioritization.
• Translate complex requirements into clear tasks for developers and engineers.
• Collaborate with teams during planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, and reviews.
• Validate and accept completed stories per DoD and built-in quality guidelines.
• Participate in PI Planning and roadmap alignment.
• Incorporate architectural runway and cybersecurity controls into iterations.
• Coordinate system demos and capture feedback for backlog refinement.
• Manage requirements lifecycle across Jira/Confluence/Azure DevOps/VersionOne.
• Prepare transition docs, personas, and training materials.
