Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Naval Enterprise Network (NEN) OCONUS efforts at the Naples, Italy site. You will provide Tier III on-site SME support and engineering for NEN-OCONUS infrastructure, coordinating with TNOSC, LNSC, and NIWC, handling incident response, OS upgrades, and system deployments.

The role requires US citizenship, active DoD Secret clearance, and DoD 8570 IAT Level II and CISSP certifications.

Qualifications

Must have 4+ years of relevant experience or 2+ years with a Master’s Degree.
DoD Secret clearance is required.
CISSP certification is required or equivalent
IAT Level II certification (Security+ / MCSA Server) is required or equivalent

Responsibilities

Tier Level III support for the Theatre Network Operations Service Center (TNOSC) on NEN-OCONUS.
Coordinate daily maintenance and restoration activities with TNOSC and LNSC engineers.
Provide technical support for NIPR/SIPR services.
Responsible for operating system upgrades on base systems.
Collaborate with NIWC on network additions.
Configure and test all new additions.
Coordinate with visiting teams on expansions and upgrades.
Maintain base infrastructure (routers, switches, UPS, crypto devices).
Perform maintenance tasks on NEN-OCONUS hardware (power supplies, disks, fans, tape drives).
Assist with NEN-OCONUS system refresh and deployments.
