Job summary

Four Seasons Naples Beach Club is seeking a Room Service Attendant to deliver exceptional guest experiences by providing knowledgeable descriptions of menu items, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining pristine service areas.

You will greet guests, describe items with vivid details, coordinate with kitchen and servers, handle guest requests, and ensure accurate checks, while upholding category work rules and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Average reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.
• Minimum of 1 year in food service or related work preferred.

About the role

Serve guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of food & beverage menu items as well as information regarding preparation methods.

What you will do

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Deliver food orders including any special needs or requests to the guest in‑room, check completed kitchen orders with the order taker or guest's original order; transport items to the guestroom in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.
• Greet guests, describe selected items to the guest using interesting, and vivid descriptions of the each item's, origin, taste, and preparation methods; communicate options for removal of trays and dishware; respond to request for tray removal according to established time standards.
• Breakdown, clean and set‑up of room service tables, condiment set‑ups, flatware, dishware, and room service side stations. Make proper use of our mobile technology devices and programs.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Properly and accurately close guest checks securing room number and signature; properly settle voided checks or complimentary meals.
• Comply with Four Seasons' Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co‑workers and supervisors.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Take guest orders in the absence of order taker.
• Plate and prepare small food items.

What you bring

• High school education or equivalent experience
• Average reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
• Minimum of 1 year in food service or related work preferred.
