Job summary

Four Seasons Naples Beach Club is seeking a Barista to deliver exceptional quality and service to guests, with deep knowledge of specialty coffees and personalized customer care. You will engage guests at the bar, describe beverage options vividly, and ensure accuracy from order to checkout.

Ideal candidates bring an outgoing personality, passion for coffee and tea preparation, and hospitality experience within luxury resort settings.

Qualifications

• Outgoing personality and a can-do approach to an assigned task.
• High level of understanding and knowledge of coffee, espresso and tea, including preparation methods.
• Background in Luxury Resort and Hotel considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a selection of drip and specialty coffees from the menu with proper pouring and recipes.
• Confirm guest orders using the hotel's POS system and verify against the original order.
• Take orders at the bar and describe items' taste and preparation methods to guests.
• Anticipate guest needs, ensure satisfaction, and respond to concerns promptly.
• Clean coffee machine and maintain equipment.
• Close guest checks and process payments.

About The Role:

The Barista provides exceptional quality and service to Naples Trading guests. In this role, the Barista will serve guests' needs by providing exceptional knowledge of specialty coffees as well as information regarding preparation methods and personalized service.

What You Will Do:

• Prepare and serve a selection of drip and specialty coffees from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and established Four Seasons Standards.
• Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests using the hotel's point-of-sales system; check completed orders with the guest's original order.
• Service and take orders from guests seated at the bar area offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item's taste and preparation methods; maintain a working knowledge of coffee and specialty drinks.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Clean coffee machine.
• Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentary items with manager assistance.

Schedule & Hours:

This is a full-time position.

A successful candidate will have a flexible schedule, with the ability to work afternoon and evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.
