LJB & Co in Rome seeks an experienced Cost Manager to lead all cost management activities for a hyperscale data centre project. You will forecast, report finances, manage subcontractor performance and drive value engineering on a mission-critical build.

The role requires strong M&E cost expertise, familiarity with NEC and FIDIC contracts, and the ability to work with international teams. Italian fluency and right to work in Italy are essential.

Competenze

• Must have proven cost management or quantity surveying experience on data centres or mission-critical projects.
• Fluency in Italian (spoken and written) is essential for client and on-site communication.
• Experience with international contract forms NEC and/or FIDIC is preferred.

Mansioni

• Lead all cost management activities for the data centre project, ensuring accurate forecasting and financial reporting.
• Manage procurement, contract administration, and commercial performance of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Oversee budget control, valuations, change management, and risk management processes.
• Liaise with clients, design teams, and project managers to ensure commercial objectives are met.
• Provide strategic advice on cost-related decisions and value engineering opportunities.
• Produce accurate, timely cost reports and financial updates for senior leadership.
• Ensure all commercial activities align with health, safety, and quality standards.
