Intuitive Surgical is seeking a Field Service Engineer II to manage customer technical relations after the point of sale across a territory. The role requires independent work, handling escalations, and aligning expectations with customers and internal teams.

You will support da Vinci Surgical platforms, coordinate installations, schedule visits, and troubleshoot advanced electro‑mechanical systems while maintaining detailed service records and training customers as needed.

Formación

• College degree in applied science or engineering or equivalent training/experience.
• 3–7 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Good administrative and record keeping skills.
• Good knowledge of Operating Room protocol.
• Proven ability to independently troubleshoot complex electro‑mechanical systems.
• Ability to travel up to 50%, dependent upon account distribution.

Responsabilidades

• Support all da Vinci Surgical platforms.
• Analyze customer requirements to ensure effective system installation.
• Autonomously manage and schedule planned and unplanned customer appointments to maximize uptime.
• Assess functionality and perform repairs on Intuitive Surgical products.
• Provide customer training and technical support in operating room environments.
• Manage administrative duties: spare parts, RMAs, calibration, maintenance scheduling, contracts, and data entry in escalation system.
• Support sales training and marketing events by identifying issues and developing resolution strategies.
