Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Nursing Assistant (PRN) to support the nursing team in patient care activities. The role includes assisting with personal needs, hygiene, dressing, mobility, and transport to tests under nurse direction.

The position requires a high school diploma, enrollment in a nursing program, completion of clinical competencies, and BLS certification. This is an hourly, PRN position within a hospital setting dedicated to patient safety.

Competenze

• High school diploma required; complete Clinical Competencies for assigned area before off orientation.
• Currently enrolled in a nursing program and maintain education requirements.
• BLS certification required.

Mansioni

• Assist nursing team with patient care activities and services for personal needs, comfort, and safety.
• Assist patients with hygiene, dressing, walking, and mobility.
• Change bed linens and assist with transportation to tests and procedures.
• Serve and collect food trays; provide between-meal nourishment as needed.
• Record temperature or vital signs under supervision of a nurse.
