The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Nurse Extern to support inpatient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This position is hourly, PRN, with scheduled weekly hours of 8.

Education requirements include completion of first semester of an accredited ADN or BSN program and current enrollment; NCLEX must be passed within 12 months of graduation; AHA BLS certification is required.

Job Description

The Nurse Extern may be cross-trained to operate as a Unit Secretary depending on the demands and needs of the unit in which they are assigned. The care is rendered under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs other duties related to the work described herein.

Additional Job Description
