PPG is seeking a motivated Junior Production Area Manager to join our Italian operations. You will support daily manufacturing activities, coordinate schedules, and help ensure safe, efficient production aligned with quality targets.

This role offers hands-on leadership development in a fast-paced chemical environment. You will collaborate with Logistics, Quality, Maintenance and Engineering teams while learning OEM standards and continuous improvement methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Technical Diploma in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Industrial Technology, or related fields.
• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a team leadership or shift lead role.
• Experience in chemical manufacturing or process industries is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, plant operations and continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good communication and teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Support the management of the department and coordinate daily operations and production schedules.
• Monitor production activities and contribute to safety, quality, delivery and productivity targets.
• Learn and apply OEM standards and industry requirements (IATF 16949, ISO 9001).
• Assist supervisors and operators in maintaining efficient workflows and resolving issues.
• Track KPIs and participate in Lean improvement actions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and problem-solving activities.
• Promote safety and environmental standards and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Support maintenance planning and onboarding activities; prepare production reports.
