Job summary

FIMIGroup is seeking a Junior Service Technical Sales Estimator to assist the Service Department in preparing commercial quotations for spare parts, overhauls, and technical services for industrial plants. A structured training programme will develop your ability to read technical drawings and interpret documentation.

• Internship or short work experience in technical departments is an advantage.
• Own vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• Support Service team in preparing commercial quotations for spare parts, overhauls, and services.
• Analyse customer requests and Service Sales inputs.
• Identify spare parts from drawings, BOMs, manuals, and technical docs.
• Gather technical data to prepare quotations.
• Prepare quotations for spare parts and overhaul activities under supervision.
• Enter/update information in the ERP system.
• Prepare reports, technical docs, and commercial documents.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Technicians, Warehouse and Purchasing.
• Follow up quotations with customers.
• Manage correspondence with customers and suppliers.
• Participate in the training programme for professional growth.

FIMIGroup is looking for a Junior Service Technical Sales Estimator to join its Service Department.

Main responsibilities

The successful candidate will support the Service team in preparing commercial quotations for spare parts, overhaul activities, and technical services related to FIMIGroup industrial plants. Through a structured training and mentoring programme, the candidate will progressively develop the ability to interpret technical documentation, identify spare parts, and prepare commercial quotations, becoming a key contributor to the after-sales support of industrial plants installed worldwide.

What you will do

• Support the Service team in preparing commercial quotations for spare parts, overhauls, and services.
• Analyse requests received from customers and the Service Sales Department.
• Identify spare parts using technical drawings, bills of materials, manuals, and technical documentation.
• Collect the technical information required to prepare quotations.
• Prepare quotations for spare parts and overhaul activities under the supervision of senior colleagues.
• Enter and update information within the company ERP system.
• Prepare reports, technical documentation, and commercial documents.
• Liaise with the Engineering Department, Service Technicians, Warehouse, and Purchasing Department.
• Monitor and follow up quotations submitted to customers.
• Manage operational correspondence with customers and suppliers.
• Participate in the technical training programme designed to support professional growth.

Qualifications and experiences

Technical Qualifications

• Technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (mandatory).
• Interest in the metalworking industry and industrial machinery.
• Basic ability to read mechanical drawings or strong willingness to develop this skill.
• Good knowledge of standard IT tools.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Previous internship or short work experience in technical departments, Service, Spare Parts, or Technical Back Office is considered an advantage.
• Own vehicle required.

Travel

Availability to travel in Italy and abroad is required, typically for 7-10 days per trip, approximately 5-8 times per year, to support Service activities and customer requirements.

Contract, Working Hours & Benefits

• National Metalworking Industry Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL Metalmeccanica Industria).
• Initial classification level: D1 for newly qualified candidates or applicants without specific experience; candidates with relevant experience will be offered a classification level and compensation consistent with their skills and background.
• Indicative gross annual salary: €23,200 - €25,000, depending on education, skills, and experience.
• Company canteen.
• Annual welfare benefits of €250.
• Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break.
